Clear develop innovative risk based approach to Drainage Area Planning. Sept 2009.
Clear has successfully assisted Severn Trent Water in aligning the DAP process with the risk based methodologies in SRM5 and the Common Framework. This has led to a set of new modelling and catchment planning procedures being developed to prioritise catchment deficiencies not only on the frequency or likelihood of failure, but also taking account of consequence of any deficiencies.

Clear complete ‘live’ flow monitor trial.
We have recently completed a successful trial and assessment of live flow monitoring technology in conjunction with Severn Trent and OnSite, allowing Severn Trent to assess the technical merits and potential efficiencies of this new technology for drainage area planning purposes.

Clear win a number of Ecology and FRA projects.
Clear have recently won Ecological assessment and impact studies for a large PFI scheme on 37 sites in Newcastle upon Tyne, in addition to a number of FRA and SUDs design studies in relation to a number of poly tunnel farm sites across Staffordshire.

WaPUG IUD Guide finalised.
Jamie Margetts of Clear and Chris Digman (MWH) have recently finished editing the WapUG Integrated Urban Drainage Modelling Guide on behalf of CIWEM. This sets a technical framework for integrating various urban drainage models and can be downloaded at http://www.ciwem.org/groups/wapug/modelling.asp.
