Tree Surveys (including survey to the BS5837)
Clear Ecology has a team of Arboreal Consultants that specialise in tree surveys for development.
All surveys are undertaken following BS5837 for development. All tree surveys are accompanied by full surveys schedules and constraints plans.
Tree Inspection & Survey - Whether it be a single tree or a large population, whether it is for the purpose of satisfying mortgage lenders, establishing tree health/condition for safety purposes or advising on a trees role for subsidence issues, Clear is able to undertake and report thoroughly on any tree inspection/survey.
Tree Preservation Orders (TPO's) and Conservation Areas - Many trees in the UK enjoy statutory protection and severe penalties can be incurred for damage to them. Clear has many years experience in the administration of the TPO system and is able to produce detailed specifications for tree work applications.
We are also able to make representation to local planning authorities to support objections to the making of inappropriate TPO's or to represent tree owners involved in TPO appeals.
Trees and Development - Trees are a ‘material consideration’ in the development process. This means that Local Planning Authorities (LPA’s) have a duty to consider them when determining any planning application. LPA’s will frequently require that a tree survey is submitted with any planning application and may refuse to register an application until such a survey is provided.
By carefully considering and making provision for trees in the context of a new site layout, trees can add maturity and value to a development. However, poor planning can result in unnecessary tree loss, inappropriate tree retention and undesirable living conditions for both trees and people.
Clear have the necessary experience to ensure tree provision is adequately considered as part of the planning process
