Management Plans

In recent years Clear has undertaken a range of management plans, some as stand alone projects that aim to assess and conserve the conservation status of a site, others that form part of a mitigation scheme.

Clear has recently undertaken a management plan of a large public park near Chorley in Lancashire that aims to assess the current ecological value of the site and proposes recommendations for methods of improvement.

We have been commissioned by Lichfield District Council to undertake ecological surveys and a management plan for a proposed Local Nature Reserve.

Clear has also been appointed to prepare a management plan for a farm near Sedgefield that is diversifying into offering motor cross facilities. Alongside proposals for mitigation, Clear is also preparing a management plan for the farm to increase its ecological value.

Typical management plan considerations may include the timings of annual maintenance works on a site to minimize impacts on protected species, identifying areas for the creation of new habitats and the monitoring of the success of these tools on an annual basis.
