EIA
Ecological Impact Assessments are included as part of Environmental Statements required when proposed developments pass thresholds triggered under the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations (1999). Clear has significant experience in EIA and provide input throughout the entire process, from initial scoping to producing Ecology Chapters of Environmental Statements and surveying sites and species to assess specific impacts.
Our assessments are undertaken to industry standard methods, with mitigation solutions designed on a bespoke basis to reduce impacts as much as possible. By working closely with the EIA team we aim to do this through designing in solutions rather than by large reductions of developable footprint.
Recent sectors where we have produced Ecology Chapters to input into EIAs include housing, renewables and energy from waste.
