BREEAM Assessment

Clear Ecology is experienced in providing ecological surveys and recommendations for biodiversity and enhancement in order to help our clients achieve their required number of credits.

Due to an increased demand in BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes projects, Clear has designed and launched a report tailored specifically for its suitability in achieving our client’s credit requirements.

Clear Ecology has successfully provided ecological services in relation to the following BREEAM Assessments:

The Code for Sustainable Homes

On the 27 February 2008 the Government confirmed that from 1 May 2008 it would be mandatory for all new homes to have a rating against the Code. Please note that the new regulations for providing for mandatory ratings does not apply to properties (individual or as part of an ongoing development) where the initial notice, full plans or Building Notice have been received by the relevant Local Authority Building Control body prior to 1st May 2008.

Clear Ecology has successfully undertaken in excess of 50 ecological assessments that have fulfilled the requirements of the code and provided the client with the required credits.

Training

Clear recently prepared and delivered a training programme on behalf of STROMA.

As part of Stroma’s training programme to its members Clear delivered a training workshop entitled Ecology within The Code for Sustainable Homes.
