If you’re about to graduate, or have recently completed your degree in an engineering or environmental discipline with a first or second class degree, we’d like to hear from you. We’re especially interested in graduates whose degree courses have specialised in wastewater, hydraulics or flood risk, or who have a keen interest in these areas.
RPS Environmental Management Ltd employs new graduates throughout our business, in all divisions based at our offices in Derby, Sheffield, Glasgow and Warrington.
No previous experience is needed, however a good level of computing skills, knowledge or any modelling software and GIS knowledge is an advantage.
We offer a competitive training scheme with the opportunity for graduates to apply for enrolment on the industry leading Post Graduate Certificate in Managing Urban Drainage, accredited by The University of Derby.

Technicians & Apprentices
We are also looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team of engineers and computer modellers as Junior Technicians.
Undertaking a range of computer based work including use of Geographic Information System (GIS) software and Microsoft Excel. This includes working with mapping data, analysing datasets and learning to use computer modelling software.
No previous experience is required, with excellent in-house training including operating of GIS systems, we'll teach you all you need to know.
All we require for you to apply to the role is GCSEs grades C or above in Maths and English, an interest in the water industry and using computers, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to learning.
